Subject: Eris - The Movie
It seems that Miramax came quite close to releasing a movie about our favorite and/or least favorite goddess, then canned the project mysteriously. The film was supposed to star Edward Norton (you know, from Fight Club) and Heather Graham, and be directed by Darren Aronofsky, who made Pi. Apparently most of the shooting was completed. Now, though, the project has been shelved and Miramax has pulled all mention of it from their web site. One assumes they don't think it would be profitable, but they're going to release another Pokemon movie, so how could that be the case? For more info, see the links below.

I know this isn't strictly related to the Eris movie, but has anyone seen the film "Revelation" It came out in the last year or two, and its got Udo Kier in it. It might be worth checking out - not anything about Discordia per se, but a lot about some powerful secret society trying to ressurect christ or hints of 'immanentizing the eschation'. Anyways, even if I'm just seeing things where there aren't any, its a really intense film. P.S. Has anyone else noticed, in the first half of fight club, I think just when you see Brad Pitt for the first time, on the left of the screen there a bit of wall. Graffitied on it several times is ELF. Weird, huh?

Man, I was hoping this would be up for a little while longer before people realized that. But we should sign that petition and bother Miramax about it anyway. At worst it will confuse and annoy them (and how bad is that, really?), and at best they'll realize that there's a whole deranged target audience out here eager for bizarre entertainment.
